"Listen to your body, it has more to tell you than you think."

Do you recognize this?

  • Constantly tired or tensed without any apparent cause?

  • Physical complaints such as back pain, abdominal pain or shortness of breath that keep coming back?

  • Having trouble relaxing or sleeping , despite a healthy body?

  • Burnout complaints or feelings of anxiety that manifest themselves in your body ?

Then you're not alone. Many people struggle with complaints that can't be "medically explained" yet are still very noticeable. Psychosomatic physiotherapy offers a solution.

What is psychosomatic physiotherapy?

Psychosomatic physiotherapy focuses on the connection between body and mind. We look not only at your physical complaint but also at the stress, emotions, and behaviors that can perpetuate it.

I help you gain insight into your complaints and guide you towards relaxation, recovery, balance and more control over your health.

Approach

At Koert Psychosomatics, I take the time and attention to truly get to know you. This way, I ensure you feel comfortable and that the treatment is a good fit for you. This is how we work together:

Free introduction

We start with a free, no-obligation phone/online consultation (15 minutes). You can tell us what you're struggling with, and we'll explore whether psychosomatic physiotherapy is right for you. You can ask all your questions and experience whether we connect.

Completely free and without any obligations.

Intake & customized plan

Feeling good? Then we'll schedule a comprehensive intake (45-60 minutes). We'll look together at your symptoms, your lifestyle, and how you're feeling, both physically and mentally.

We'll then create a personalized plan, tailored specifically to you. No one-size-fits-all approach, but something that truly suits you.

In-depth treatment

In the sessions, we'll work step by step. This could include, for example:

  • Relaxation exercises

  • Breathing and body awareness

  • Movement and posture

  • Conversations about stress, emotions or behavior

  • Long-term handles

We'll build up gradually, and you set the pace. The goal? More peace, insight, and control over your symptoms, from within.

What does the client say?

I saw Lizzy for chronic pain and fatigue. I can't recommend her expertise and support highly enough. Lizzy is not only highly skilled but also incredibly understanding and encouraging. Her approach was thoughtful and personalized, starting with mindfulness to increase my body awareness and gradually moving on to exercises tailored to my abilities. Every session felt like a step forward, even when there were inevitable setbacks. She helped me overcome them with patience and understanding, and her positive encouragement was invaluable. I'm convinced that the sessions with her played a crucial role in my overall rehabilitation process. I'm incredibly grateful for her expertise, patience, and positive energy.
